Michelle has been in marketing strategy for nearly 20 years. Michelle got involved in Engaging from Day 1 with the conviction of creating a business that ‘does great work with great people’, including clients, partners and staff. A born problem solver, she immerses herself in clients’ businesses and reconstructs their sales & marketing activities to ensure they operate to deliver directly on the business’ objectives. Michelle is passionate about maintaining a company and company culture that leaves the world a better place than we found it.

With roots in digital marketing, Sonia is the ‘glue' that connects all aspects of the agency. With a career spanning strategy, creative, delivery and management, Sonia brings the ‘done’ from Done by Friday to Engaging Partners so we get sh*t done! From enterprise eCommerce systems to innovative multi-channel campaigns, she has guided, designed and delivered hundreds of digital projects for clients across a broad range of industries. Her strategic vision and a unique ability to bridge marketing, senior management, IT stakeholders and creative teams means she makes projects happen - on time and on budget.
Partner: Media strategist
Todd’s been in the media industry for over 25 years. He founded Engaging in 2009 because he saw how digital was going to be able to deliver exciting and measurable returns for his clients. He still has the knack for identifying new and emerging tech that will impact the industry. He’s an honest man who really enjoys direct contact with his clients.
Rory studied Business Management and Marketing and has been managing sales and marketing teams for 15 years. A hard worker, he’s also started various businesses within that time - hence his passion for business, marketing and improving the customer experience. At Engaging Partners Rory bring his empathy with business owners to the fore. As leader of our team of Growth Partners he will be your mentor as we develop our relationship with you.
Senior dev architect
Ralph has been developing websites and systems for 15 years. Passionate and curious, he’s an a-typical developer who understands how users interact with the systems he builds. He understands that systems need to be human-friendly. Ralph loves working in an industry that is constantly changing and disrupting itself.
Geff’s been in design for nearly 20 years, in digital for the last 10. Geff uses User-Centred Design principles to develop CX and UX that delivers for clients. He loves problem solving, leading design sprints and prototyping. Geff advocates strongly for user feedback and enjoys the challenge of creating solutions that positively impact user behaviour and interaction with technology.
For the last seven years, Tom had been working as an account manager in London, running digital marketing campaigns for some of the area’s top restaurant brands. Forming relationships and getting creative with data to develop cool campaigns drive Tom day in and out. Despite being a self-proclaimed townie, he moved to NZ to pursue an outdoors lifestyle. He’s gradually working his way around the golf courses and welcomes any pointers on how to improve his game.
Raised here in Auckland and graduating from AUT with a Marketing and Hospitality degree, it’s safe to say Rebecca (Becca for short) knows what Kiwis are after. Not to mention, she’s had an impressive digital marketing career working with Bauer Media, TV3, and Jetstar. She’s always learning and hunting for the best way to help clients produce the best possible campaigns and results. When Becca isn’t working, you can find her on the beach, travelling or binge-watching food documentaries.
Edward’s professional experience has taken him all around the world. For the last couple of years he’s been an account manager in Brazil. He’s well versed in marketing now, but when he was at uni, he received a Bachelor of Arts, taking interest in studies like jazz composition. He knows a couple of instruments too - these days, Edward plays clarinet, guitar, piano, bass, ukelele or whatever instrument he can get his hands on.
Claudia is highly passionate about marketing - she was a double major in Marketing and Event Management at AUT and has held a number of jobs in the industry around Auckland. She finds there’s never a dull moment in marketing. Fun fact about Claudia: she was born in New Zealand but both her parents are Peruvian so she’s fluent in Spanish! She loves (like, loves) dogs and dancing at a good festival, especially if Beyonce is there.
